Visual art has had a persistent presence in her life. As a child, she loved to paint and draw. As an adult, Jessica E. has grown into her talent and continues to paint using oils and acrylics. She also enjoys drawing in ink and pencil, and dabbling in watercolours and pastels. She has produced several works of art including illustrations of fairies and pieces from the “Dream Collection,” a series that captures the essence of childhood. She has a many more ideas, all of which she plans to develop.
“I do art for myself, as a form of meditation. It allows me to capture what’s in my mind’s eye. My imagination can be unconstrained, it can run wild. This is why my themes can seem varied and my style inconsistent. But that’s who I am. I can’t envision my life without art. For me, existence would seem shallow, it would lose meaning,” says the aspiring artist.
